Privacy Policy

Cyriliance Labs Inc., doing business as C Labs® ("C Labs", "we"), is an engineering research and development company in British Columbia, Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect through clabs.io and our social media accounts, and how we handle it. We follow British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where it applies, Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

• Messages you send us. If you email us, we keep your name, email address and what you wrote, to reply and to discuss any work you propose.
• Technical data. Our web server records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time) to keep the site secure and running. These logs are not used to identify you.
• Fonts. Our website loads fonts from Google Fonts. When it does, your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address and browser information. Google's handling of that data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
• Social media. We publish our own content to our accounts on platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Bluesky and Reddit using their official APIs. Through these tools we may see public interactions with our posts (comments, reactions, follower counts), as provided by each platform. We do not collect data about members beyond what the platform shows on our own pages.

What we don't do

• We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.
• We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers, or build profiles of visitors.

How we use it

Only to reply to you, to run and secure our website, and to manage our own social media accounts.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers who help us run the site and email (bound to protect it), or when required by law.

Storage and retention

We keep correspondence as long as needed for the purpose it was sent, or as required by law, then delete it. Some service providers may store data outside Canada.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Contact us and we will respond within 30 days.
